STORY: Immigrant families headed to the White House Friday to call for reforms.

After sweeping victories for republicans in Midterm elections, President Barack Obama said on Wednesday he planned to move ahead with executive actions on immigration reforms by the end of the year, but encouraged Congress to pass a comprehensive bill that would supersede his actions.

"What I'm not going to do is just wait," Obama told a news conference.
