Madonna dresses, John Lennon glasses up for auction
From Michael Jackson's performance outfits to John Lennon's glasses, memorabilia from the world's biggest pop icons are about to go under the hammer.
Beverly Hills-based Julien's Auctions are putting over 700 items from the stars up for sale.
SOUNDBITE (English) MARTIN NOLAN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF JULIEN'S AUCTIONS, SAYING:
"Yes, so in this particular auction we have almost 70 items from The Beatles. They, of course, always do very well at auction. Elvis Presley is represented. We have about 40 items from Michael Jackson who is of course the King of Pop and his items sell for record prices time and time again."
The auction also boasts a large Madonna collection including outfits, shoes and hats, and her very own wedding dress.
