Plan to restore floor of Rome's Colosseum

Rome's ancient Colosseum was once the arena for deadly battles, serving as entertainment to the city's population.

Now, Italy's culture minister has backed a plan to rebuild the floor of the Colosseum, allowing visitors to stand where the gladiators once fought.
