TLC’s show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ has millions of fans.

However, the network has just announced the program is being cancelled.

The end of the show comes after a story broke concerning June Shannon, known as Mama June on the series. She is reported to be seeing a convicted child molester, Mark Anthony McDaniel .

In response, TLC officials have confirmed to ABC News that all activities surrounding the show are ending immediately. Staffers said the priority is the welfare, comfort and health of the children and also made it clear they are concerned about the new information that has surfaced.

On the Facebook page of Honey Boo Boo, a message was written presumably by Shannon in an effort to dispel the rumors about the man she is said to be dating.

The post reads “my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn't go back.”

Last month, Shannon and Honey Boo Boo’s father, Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson parted ways. The show’s fourth season concluded in late summer with 1.8 million viewers tuning in.
