Tarbela Dam

Tarbela is one of the greatest water resources development project. Besides irrigating millions of acres of land in Pakistan generates hydro electricity and controls floods. The contract was awarded to a group of three Italian and three French companies. Later five German and two Swiss companies joined, making a consortium of thirteen European firms. Tarbela Dam has really proved to be the national assert and Pakistan Army is very much aware of its obligations to provide reliable safeguard for this national asset.
