MQM concerns justified: Altaf Hussan's life is in danger: Kanwar Naveed Jamil
Addressing a press conference at Khurshid Begum Secretariat in Karachi, MQM Raabta Committee’s member Kanwar Naveed Jamil said that MQM always raised its voice against the religious extremist elements which is why MQM is being targeted by a banned outfit.
He said that Taliban have threatened to kill Altaf Hussain.
Kanwar Naveed urged the federal government to write to the British government to make Altaf Hussain’s security ‘foolproof’.
He also urged the provincial government to beef up security of MQM’s headquarters Nine Zero and its leaders.
Raabta Committee said that MQM leaders received a letter from Taliban threatening to kill them.
MQM said that Taliban even demanded extortion money from them and the Sindh government hasn’t taken any steps to prevent any foul play.
