FrankenBOLA: How an African Lab Sparked the Ebola Outbreak

Kenema Government Hospital (KGH) was a level 2 certified lab that received DoD funds and was charged with containing level 4 pathogens such as Ebola, Lassa, Marburg and the Rift Valley virus. KGH is located right at the heart of the West African outbreak and it is about a hundred miles from where the reported case zero of the outbreak is said to have been from.
This short documentary features testimony from the Director of Infectious Disease Research describing how this variant of ebola is like nothing that has been seen before.
Also included is testimony from other virologists that agree that this strain of ebola is the result of a gain of function study. In other words, it has enhanced pathogenicity and/or transmissibility in mammals via the respiratory route due to laboratory tinkering. They assert that ebola is indeed airborne and that the endgame of this engineered strain is the national implementation of a mandatory vaccine.
