Rivers died from oxygen deprivation, Pitt premieres "Fury"

Joan Rivers died of a complication during a medical procedure that caused oxygen deprivation to the brain - this according to the New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office, who released a statement saying "the death resulted from a predictable complication of medical therapy." Rivers passed away last month at the age of 81 following a procedure on her throat.

Brad Pitt helmed a star-studded red carpet in Washington, D.C. for the premiere of his film "Fury." The actor once again plays an American fighting Nazis in World War II. Also attending the event was Pitt's co-star Shia LaBeouf. The film is set to hit theaters on Friday (October 17).
