Fears grow as ISIL tightens grip on Kobane

There are grave fears that the Kurdish-controlled northern Syrian city of Kobane might fall into the hands of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Thousands of Kobane residents, who ran away from war, are now refugees in Turkey, just across the border.
