Officials: Cyclone Hudhud to hit India's Odisha state

Fishermen scramble to gather their belongings as waves crash down on India's eastern seaboard.

With winds over 120 miles per hour, Cyclone Hudhud has created a trail of devastation and claimed at least three lives.

Some residents say the government has done nothing to help.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) A RESIDENT, NAGESHWAR, SAYING:

"It is very very dangerous situation at present. And the people and NDRF (National Disaster Response Force), no one has approached here. Our government has issued that everything has been implemented, so far no one has implemented, no one has taken care. This is the situation going on in Visakhapatnam city, fishing harbor."

Now, the cyclone is on the brink of hitting India's eastern state of Odisha.
