THE INTERVIEW - Volodymyr Yermolenko, Ukrainian philosopher and political scientist

A little over a month after Ukraine and pro-Russian rebels signed a fragile ceasefire, the death toll in Ukraine's six-month war continues to climb by the day. Separatist fighters, meanwhile, show no signs of going quietly into the night. Volodymyr Yermolenko, a Ukrainian philosopher and essayist, says Ukraine's predicament is a result of a Russian-made geopolitical doctrine which he calls "Sado-Putinism".
He also tells Douglas Herbert whether he thinks Ukraine will ever be truly united.
