Actor Robert De Niro and entrepreneur Carlos Slim are honored by the Friars Club.
The group celebrated De Niro with its highest honor, the Entertainment Icon Award, for his work in Hollywood.
The actor dedicated his award to his late friend Robin Williams.

"I can't look at the clip from 'Awakenings' that introduce Penny without thinking about how much I miss Robin Williams. If you know me, you know I like to laugh, and no one made me laugh like Robin."
Slim was presented with the first Icon Award for Philanthropy by Larry King.
The businessman was praised for his work to provide education, health care and business opportunities for Latin American countries and around the world.
Sting and Motown legends Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin were just a few of the night's entertainers.
