My life in Russia: Jaime Yela from Cali, Colombia

  • 10 лет назад
"My life in Russia" is a video blog about English-speaking expats living in Russia. In this blog, we present Russia from their points of view - how they adjust to local habits, how they adapt their everyday life, how they make friends.
We spent a day with Jaime Yela from Colombia, a traveler and United Nations volunteer who came to Russia to take part in the InterSeliger conference. This is Jaime’s third visit to Russia and he hopes he’ll have the chance to come back here again. During his time in Russia, Jaime has managed to see more than just Moscow and Saint Petersburg. He’s also managed to travel to several Siberian cities by train. “People are very open. I traveled by train in a common car. It was interesting for me to talk to people. Some people had never seen a Colombian before. People from Latin America don’t come here very often.”
