LAHORE (Dunya News) – Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, former president Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday said that no one can become a politician merely by building a hospital, adding that Imran Khan needs to be patient now that he has entered politics, Dunya News reported.

Addressing the organizational office bearers at Bilawal House Lahore, Zardari said that all political parties should seriously try to resolve issues.

Former president also took on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by saying that Sharif has learnt about the challenges after coming into power. He said Imran Khan will also learn a few things.

Zardari said he saved Pakistan from becoming Iraq during his presidential tenure.

He said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) does not engage in the politics of misbehaving, adding that those who engaged in such politics had to later offer explanations.

Meanwhile, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said while addressing in Naudero that PPP always fought for the rights of the poor. He announced to contest next elections from the national assembly constituency NA 207.

He said PPP will demonstrate full political power show in Karachi on October 18.
