Nail-biter election throws Brazil’s Rousseff into a runoff vote

The polls have closed in Brazil's presidential election.
But voters will have to return to the polls for a run-off.
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff won over 40 percent of the vote, ahead of opponents Aecio Neves and Marina Silva, but fell short of the 50 percent needed to avoid a second-round runoff.
Rousseff will face off against pro-business rival Aecio Neves on Oct. 26.
Neves seems to have a decent chance at winning given the narrow results, and Rousseff campaign officials say they'll have a tougher time in the second round.
A nationwide poll shows that Rousseff would lead against challenger Neves by a margin of 48 percent to 42 percent.
