Keanu Reeves stars as former hitman John Wick whose peaceful live is interrupted when a thug named Iosef Tarasof (Alfie Allen) steals his car and kills his dog a dog given to him by his late wife. Seeking revenge, John heads to New York to find the thieves. It turns out however, that Tarasovs father is a Russian crime lord (Michael Nyqvist) who puts a bounty on Johns head. Marcus (Willem Dafoe), a former colleague and friend of John, is wants to collect that bounty. Bloodshed ensues.
