Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday stated that it is hard to understand the real agenda of protestors led-by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri.
While addressing joint session of the parliament, Nawaz Sharif said the government has tried its best to resolve the issue through dialogue.
On one side they were holding talks with the government, while on the other hand they were displaying funeral shrouds, chanting anti-government slogans and threatening to attack government institutions, the Prime Minister said.
Giving details regarding election results, the Prime Minister said 27 candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won the election while 77 met humiliating defeat.
