Dunya News - PAT suspends talks, says its workers arrested by Police

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has suspended the talks yet again saying that its workers are being arrested by the government. Raheeq Abbasi said that government is holding talks with PAT on one side while arresting the workers on the other.
Talking to media today (Friday) in Islamabad, Raheeq Abbasi said that PAT is not attending talks with the government today as a protest against its workers’ arrests. He said that PAT has informed Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) Senator Rehman Malik.
Raheeq Abbasi said that if the government was serious in talks with PAT then it must release the workers at once. He said that a negotiator of Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) has also been arrested.
