Wearing Bra causes Breast Cancer??

Published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers & Prevention, a study says regularly wearing a brassiere with or without an under-wire will not result to a higher risk of getting breast cancer. The study was conducted to 469 healthy post-menopausal women and 1,000 women diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. They compared the ‘bra-wearing habits’of these women including cup size, hours they wore their bras everyday, how many of their bras contained under-wire, and how old they were when they started wearing a bra. The authors of the study found out that there was no link between the aspect of bra-wearing to breast-cancer occurrence.
