Reportedly, Volkswagen launched the Lamando coupe at the Chengdu Motor Show. This new VW in China is the production-version of the mid-size sedan…err...coupe that the carmaker unveiled at Beijing Motor show earlier this year.
With this model plate, Volkswagen is aiming to captive the market of youths that prefer coupe over the rest; likewise to the Passat CC - Lamando stands to the band of Jetta CC.
Despite a coupe in its attire, the new car is more of a sedan and hence that’s proven by its boot capacity of 500 liters.
