Uma Thurman and Charlotte Gainsbourg dazzle for "Nymphomaniac"
Actresses Uma Thurman and Charlotte Gainsbourg dazzled on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival on Monday September 1 for the launch of "Nymphomaniac: Volume II".
In a rare move for the festival, the actresses, alongside their co-star Stella Skarsgard, walked the red carpet of the main venue prior to the premiere of another movie.
Their film was actually showing in a neighbouring cinema used predominantly for press screenings.
While Thurman went for a classic sleeveless ball gown, Gainsbourg arrived in an asymmetrical short leather dress.
"Nymphomaniac: Volume II" is the second and final part of Lars von Trier's movie about the life of a sex addict, played by Gainsbourg.
It's screening out of competition at the festival.
