Metro Redux Lost Tunnels Bandits with Bourbon

There's been some discussion on the steam forums about a cutscene that leads to death in the Lost Tunnels level of Metro Redux. It's at the end of the section where Bourbon sends you in to clear the bandits. If you don't clear all the bandits and try to go through the door exiting the area you will trigger the cutscene and die.
