Broadcast Audience Research Council or BARC which is supposedly the industry's response to TAM, has delayed the launch of its operations which was meant to take off in October of this year. This delay has miffed marketers who are not only disappointed with this delay but have also raised concerns over BARC's capability on-ground and the fact that it has not really been very transparent in its communication with its stake holders.
