Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson speak up about female empowerment at Sin City premiere

Actresses Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson talk about their fearless characters at the Los Angeles premiere of "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" on Tuesday (August 19) evening. The two actresses were accompanied by co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller as well as other cast members.

"It's coming off like, women empowerment, these tough women, they're so, like, they're kicking butt and taking names and it's like, that's the thing that I find really fascinating 10 years later, is just that how many more powerful, in your face and sexy and vulnerable and all over the place spectrum type of women have hit the market and really been able to make in roads in film now and how welcome this is in a different way. Not just the nerds anymore, it's like women who are like, I want to see this and I'm like, yes," says Rosario Dawson, who reprises her role as Gail, the Uzi submachine wielding prostitute.
