Albir Rojas (from Panama) is one of the most sought after Kizomba teachers and performers in the world. Kizomba is immensely popular in the African and European Latin dance sphere and is gaining popularity in the Americas. Albir is helping to lead the way. He seamlessly combines the Angolan born dance with hip-hop, ballet, jazz and an assortment of other dance styles to form what Albir calls ‘Kizomba fusion’.
Sara Lopez was Albir’s primary dance partner until September, 2013. As of December 2013, his new dance partner is Carola Tauler.
Sara López was born in 1986 and started dancing at the age of five. She studied ballet for 15 years and obtained an honors certificate from The Royal Ballet of London.
At age 22 she traveled to L.A. (California, USA) to step up her dance training and choreography skills. She took more courses on contemporary dance, ground and aerial ecrobatics, etc. She gave hip-hop, latin and kizomba classes, while also working as a dancer for video spots and TV programs. She started Kizomba in late 2009 dancing in a show with Albir Rojas and competing in the qualifying rounds of the Africadançar contest in Madrid. They were selected to represent Spain in the Africadancar international championship and earned second place in the 2010 event.

Mika Mendes is a kizomba/zouk singer. He was born in Nice, France, to Cape Verdean parents.
He is the son of Boy Gé Mendes, cape verdean singer.Mika first entered the music world in 2001 when he participated in a Cape Verdean compilation course, “Aliança”.In 2008 Mika signed on to Kaysha’s Sushiraw label, where he recorded his debut album, “Mika Mendes,” released in July of that same year.
