A 12-year-old boy and his neighbour have begun to collect and and take care of homeless kittens found in conflict-ridden Donetsk, Tuesday.

When he noticed four small kittens were abandoned on a street close to where the boy lives, the young boy chose to take them in and care for them. Many pets have been left behind by their owners after they were forced to flee the violence in Eastern Ukraine.
