Madrid, Aug 5 (EFE), (Camera: Nacho Martín).- About 5,000 fans acclaimed Costa Rican keeper Keylor Navas at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium Tuesday after the player signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid.
Navas, who passed a medical examination earlier that day, jumped on the field while supporters cheered him on, some of them even carrying Costa Rican flags. Team President Florentino Pérez and Institutional Relations Manager Emilio Butrageño also stayed to see the player touch the turf for the first time. Real Madrid's latest transfer is to wear number 13 on his jersey.
