Monster Club

(1980) A chance encounter between author R. Chetwynd-Hayes (impersonated here by John Carradine) and a charming fellow in need of a bite (Vincent Price) leads to the duo paying a visit to the latter's favorite establishment, "The Monster Club", where, between the music and other business, we are regaled with stories about some of the denizens thereof.

This anthology outing, the last by producer Milton Subotsky after departing Amicus, is based on tales by R. Chetwynd-Hayes (the real one), offered in a serio-comic vein, and clearly aimed for a younger (though not necessarily hipper) audience. But how can one resist seeing Vinnie doing a bit of sedate disco dancing?
