"Mother in the Sea, Haenyeo"
Joon Choi is Korea's representative and a world-renowned advertising photographer. He held a photo exhibition dedicated to the Haenyeo, female divers, with the hope of designating it as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage. Choi has been taking photos of the Haenyeo since 2005. This exhibition showcases approximately 160 photos and 3 video clips, turning a thousand-year history of the Haenyeo and their sorrowful lives into artwork through the medium of photography.

The 33rd International Modern Dance Festival "Arouse Your Instinct with Dance”
The 33rd edition of the International Modern Dance Festival, also known as MODAFE, was held for 9 days under the title of "Arouse Your Instinct with Dance.” This prestigious festival showcased the works of 19 different dance teams from 7 countries, including Korea's renowned choreographers Roh Jung-sik, Jeon Hyuk-jin, and Hwang Mi-sook. They express various human emotions and social issues using body language, while encouraging people to reminisce about their memories.
