Celebrities weigh in on the midest conflict

Celebrities are using social media to voice their opinions about the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Pop star Madonna is one of the latest stars to post a message on both twitter and Instagram.

In a series of tweets the singer said "No Separation! We all bleed the same color!"

On Instagram she posted a photo of two men holding hands.

On July 15 American singer Rihanna posted a free Palestine message, which was quickly deleted and replaced with a message of peace and a neutral message for an end to the war.

However, One Direction member Zayn Malik, who is Muslim, is standing by his free Palestine tweet, despite angry messages from fans.

Selena Gomez posted "It's about humanity Pray for Gaza" to her 11 million followers.

Actress Mia Farrow, voiced her concern on twitter for those in hospitals stuck in the conflict zone.

While comedian Bill Maher used humor to defuse the tense situation.
