Witches' Mountain

(1972) A murky and atmospheric tale, made murkier still by both the cinematography and the editing: A photojournalist, planning a story on witches, treks through a desolate region in the Pyrenees with his new-found girlfriend, herself a freelance writer, and, sure enough, together they come upon a whole coven of "las brujas" in the sort of remote, gloomy castle that just had to be out here somewhere. Looks like things are going downhill from there!
