Face of the Screaming Werewolf

(1959) Take one Mexican horror-comedy and turn American entrepreneur Jerry Warren loose on it to edit and redub (removing some material entirely, whilst adding in footage cribbed from "La Momia Azteca" ["The Aztec Mummy"]. The resulting film is a tale in which a Karloffian mad professor, conducting arcane experiments in resurrection, revives a mummy--only to have it turn out to be a werewolf! And that is perhaps the most comprehensible part of the proceedings. (You've been warned, Couch Pumpkins!)

Lon Chaney Jr., in a non-speaking role, does double duty revisiting two of his previous characterizations (or unreasonable facsimiles thereof) as both the mummy and the werewolf. And, contrary to what the evidence would suggest, Ed Wood had nothing to do with this film.
