Dunya News - Girls surpass boys in BISE Exams

Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced the examination results on Friday, Dunya News reported. As per the examination results, girls have surpassed boys in most cities.

The Lahore Board results were announced by Chairman Board on Friday. Osama Qamar with 1076 marks secured the overall first position. Ali Hussain and Sabiha Ashraf both stood second with 1072 marks. Ramsha Aslam, however, obtained the third position with 1070 marks.

In Gujranwala, Rida Maryam with 1070 marks stood first, Kashf Zafar with 1065 came second and Hadia Ashraf obtained third position.

Girls also outperformed boys in Rawalpindi Board exams by bagging the top three positions. Nimra Mumtaz with 1066 marks acquired the first position, Attiqa Hashmi with 1055 and Yusra Hafeez with 1054 secured the second and third positions, respectively.

The first two positions were bagged by girls in Multan Board Exams. Having gained 1070 marks, Ayesha Khan stood first while Maryam Tehreem got the second position with 1069 marks. Osama Ahmad and Saheeb Rehman secured the third position.

Shahzeb Ahmad stood first with 1070 marks, Kashmala Irfan second with 1062 marks while Anam Yousaf obtained the third position in Sahiwal.

In Sargodha, the first position was held by three students: Tehreem Fatima, Maham Sabir and Muhammad Osama with 1060 marks each.

According to the results announced by Bahawalpur Board, Zubaida Hamid stood first with 1060 marks. However, the second position was held by three students named Aleeza Maimoona, Amin Kashif and Hafiz Ajmal with 1057 marks each whereas Tehreem Salimi secured the third position.
