Dunya News - Gujrat torture case: Accused sent on physical remand

The accused Ghulam Mustafa, who allegedly chopped off the arms of an innocent 10-year-old boy, has been sent on physical remand till August 4.
Chief Minister Punjab paid visit to the victim on Friday and suspended the concerned DSP, SHO and MS for delaying the registration of FIR.
Following the suspension, the FIR was filed under the terrorism acts. Mustafa was brought to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Gujranwala amid tight security.
Justice Chaudary Imtiaz Ahmad asked the culprit about the reason for committing such a brutal act. To which he responded that it all happened unintentionally and requested for leniency. The judge questioned Mustafa as to how he would have reacted had it been done with his son.
