locals have staged protests in different parts of the country against the prolonged hours of loadshedding in the holy month of Ramzan.
The agitated masses in Lahore, Multan and DI Khan took to the streets against the unscheduled power outages.
According to reports, urban areas are facing up to 16 hours of loadshedding while rural areas are undergoing up to 18 to 20 hours of blackouts.
In Lahore, angry mob blocked Daroghawala G.T Road and protested against loadshedding. The protestors ransacked the complaint centre of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO).
