Whisky.com tastes the Glen Garioch Sherry cask. Glen Garioch was founded in 1797. In the year 1995 it was mothballed and finally it was reopened in 1997. This bottling then was from the second year of production.

The nose:
sherry, dark fruit, maple syrup, with a bit of spiciness and nutmeg
The taste:
heavy full and strong, with a lot of oakiness, but no bitterness
The finish:
upcoming sweetness of dark fruits
