A reporter was recently shot at while covering a homicide. Annie Moore, who works as a journalist for WVVA in West Virginia had been alone at the time of the incident, as she commonly records her own footage.

She was reporting on a murder story outside a local apartment complex. Moore just completed filming herself talking in front of the camera when she began taking a video of the surroundings.
That’s when shots pierced the air. Fortunately she narrowly missed getting hit, but she did admit to feeling a bullet whizz past her head.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Moore remarked “I was completely focused on getting the shot, so I didn't even see the car that drove by. My first thought was 'oh my goodness, someone shot at me!'"
Police are now using Moore’s video footage as evidence to find the suspects.
