Germany fans celebrate World Cup victory outside Maracana

A celebration is underway in Brazil.
Under an illuminated sky, a World Cup champion has been crowned.
Germany defeated Argentina, 1-0, in extra time, winning its fourth World Cup.

A stunning goal in the 113th minute by substitute Mario Goetze gave the Germans the one goal it needed.
The result also left Argentina forward Lionel Messi without the title he so craved to crown his glittering career.
