STORY: This time around, Marina Hoermanseder takes her inspiration from the 1950s. At Berlin Fashion Week (BFW), the young French-Austrian designer showed her 2015 spring / summer collection.

The designer said she took her inspiration from sea slugs and stones which she also used as working material.

It's the designer's second appearance at the BFW.

Marina Hoermanseder's collections "unite progressive cuts with fetish elements, experimenting with sharp contrasts and playing with the beauty of the unconventional," according to Premium Exhibitions.

Berlin Fashion Week, which ended on Friday (July 11), more than 50 designers presented their spring / summer collections for 2015.
