Gallery of Horror

(1967) John Carradine and Lon Chaney Jr. must have really loved cheese, for this is a Z-movie deli platter! An anthology format offers up five assorted tales full of witchcraft, vampirism, lycanthropy, walking dead and numerous clips of scenery clearly recognizable as coming from "Corman country"--though Roger had nothing whatsoever to do with this--magnificently inept in performance and execution, with "The Not Ready for Any Time Players" (save only Carradine and Chaney) staged in a very cheap "gallery". Even Dracula gets into the act, though without any credit given to Bram Stoker (who probably rests easier because of it.) What fun!
