Dr Tarr's Torture Dungeon (1972)

A surreal adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's "The System of Dr. Tarr and Professor Feather" is the proverbial tale of the inmates taking over the asylum, as the unfortunate fellow who came to interview the head of the institution soon discovers. Now he must save the real doctor's daughter (and himself) by taking leave of this madhouse without taking leave of his senses.
