The yearly list that reveals what White House workers are getting paid has been released.

It’s required by Congress that the names and salaries of those who make mission control run be released to them annually.

So, what do such important jobs pay?

The median income of all workers is just over 70 thousand dollars. There is a salary cap in place of 172 thousand dollars per year.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, the lowest paid workers pull in around 42 thousand annually.

There are also two people who appear to work for free – the deputy director of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move program and a policy advisor on the National Economic Council.

Top tier jobs are held by 22 people, all of whom serve as ‘assistants to the president’.

All salaries combined, the White House pays out over 37 million dollars a year to its 456-person workforce.

That doesn’t include the President’s annual pay, which is 400 thousand dollars.
