“Pakistan Army’s operation will wipe out all the terrorist sanctuaries” said PM Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday during his meeting with the Air Chief Marshal, Tahir Rafique Butt in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb has been launched after careful evaluations. The ongoing operation has been launched with full force and will continue till the wiping out of all the terrorists from the country. The successful completion of the operation will mark a new beginning of progress in the tribal areas of Pakistan for which plans have already been made. Besides local Taliban, a large number of Uzbek and other foreign terrorists were also present in North Waziristan. The operation is targeted at both local and foreign terrorists, said the PM.
During the meeting with Air Chief Marshal, important national security matters were brought under discussion. Nawaz Sharif stressed the vital role of Pakistan Air Force in the defense of the country.
