Cast: Ahsan Khan, Hareem Farooq, Naila Jaffri, Yumna Zaidi, Shazia Naz,Yasir Mazhar and Humaira Zaheer.
Well the story is about two sisters until I came to know that they were cousins when Shazia (played by Yamna Zaidi) told Hashir (played by Ahsan Khan) that they were cousin sisters actually. So the very first episode of Mausam started perfectly. The perfect contrast between the characters of the two girls Saman and Shazia was beautifully displayed. On one hand Shazia is ornamenting and grooming herself because she wants to look pretty. While on the contrary Saman was working in the kitchen and was busy with the domestic chores. The girls live in a very restricted environment where they are pin pointed at each occasion to do what they are directed. The episode also told us that Shazia is not even interested in studying further like her class mates who wanted to go to university after college. But she didn’t show her interest so much. Shazia’s thinking is just limited to the thought of whom she is going to get married to.
