Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PMLQ) leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said on Sunday that the rulers are inviting unrest and that the consequences will be on Sharif brothers. Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Hassan Mohiuddin said PAT workers only wish to peacefully welcome their chief and not to create anarchy, Dunya News reported.
Pervaiz Elahi and Mohiuddin met at Tahirul Qadri’s residence in Lahore. Addressing media after the meeting, Pervaiz Elahi said that the government hasn’t learnt any lesson from the Model Town tragedy and that the rulers are inviting the unrest.
He said that the Sharif government will be responsible for the consequences.
Qadri’s son said that PAT workers do not wish anarchy and disorder, “nor do they want to derail democracy”. He said that the government’s chambers are shaking because of Qadri’s arrival.
Tahirul Qadri is on his way to Pakistan via Dubai from London.
Talking to newsmen outside Heathrow airport, Tahirul Qadri said he wants to arrive in Pakistan and proceed to Lahore in a peaceful manner. He said the PML-N government was digging grave of its rule as it was harassing PAT workers.
