Russian cosmonaut duo make first spacewalk outside ISS

Taking a walk they will never forget, two Russian cosmonauts have been busy outside the International Space Station.

It was the first ever spacewalk for flight engineers Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemyev, who have been on the orbital outpost for almost three months.

Among their tasks was hooking up a new communications antenna and moving a cargo boom.

The ISS, a research laboratory owned by 15 nations, currently has a six strong, international crew.
