New Bangladesh filmmakers shun Bollywood

A new generation is bringing Bangladeshi films to the international scene. Mostofa Sarwar Farookin, one of the most prominent film directors in the country, has become a pioneering represenative of what they call Bangladeshi New Wave. It is part of a drive to depict modern Bangladeshi society and move away from the traditional Bollywood style films. Al Jazeera's Maher Sattar reports from Dhaka.
