70 Years After the Nazi Massacre | People and Politics

On the tenth of June 1944, German members of the Waffen-SS killed 642 residents of the village of French village of Oradour-sur-Glane. They shot many of them, including women and children, before torching the village church and other buildings. The original village was preserved as a memorial to the tragedy.
