https://www.youtube.com/CyclingExplorerTV - I did an experiment where I added a little milk to a bottle of Coke. It is amazing the chemical reaction and change that takes place. When it's finished, would you drink this? What's the stuff on the top and bottom? A few of the Coke drinkers mix it with milk products every day. A short answer: The acid and polarity in the pop causes the milk fats to separate. These fats then attract all the food coloring as well. So you are left with clear coke mixed with whey and what is essentially brown cottage cheese at the bottom.
