W&W: Pufferbelly Day!

On this beuatiful May afternoon, we take a trip down long the Wilmington & Western Railroad, Delaware's ONLY tourist RR. The W&W also operate the only 2 STEAM ENGINES in Delaware, and BOTH, that's right, TWO STEAM ENGINES are featured in this presentation. Leading the train is none other than #98, the only operating 4-4-0 "American" type engine in the eastern USA. Tucked behind #98, is #58, an 0-6-0 "Switcher" type engine. #58 happens to be an ex-US Army locomotive, which is why it is named the "Veterans Locomotive". Leading a consist of 8 cars, both #98 and #58 get a workout pulling the train up the Mt. Cuba. So sit back, and soaking in the sights and sounds of Delaware's only 2 Steam Engines in action, as we make a trackside journey up the line to Mt. Cuba.
